Let’s step outside photography for a while and look for inspiration in other forms of art.

For this meetup, we’ll visit the museum Het Depot in Rotterdam. Rather than looking at photography itself, we’ll focus on different artistic mediums and formats: paintings, sculptures, design, installations, and more. What can we take away from these different ways of creating and communicating visually? Can they change the way we approach our own photography?

We’ll wander through the museum, share observations, and see what sparks our imagination. Afterwards, we’ll head to the restaurant on the top floor for a drink and discuss what we experienced, what stood out, and what we might take back into our photography.

Summer is slowly coming to an end and everyone’s been busy! Let’s slow it down, hang out together to catch up, share our photography, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon together.

We'll meet up for the first time at #Wunderbar in WORM, a creative meeting space in Rotterdam.

Come as you are, bring your camera and a few photos to show, and let’s spend an afternoon together!

On August 12th we're heading to Hoek van Holland for something rare: a partial solar eclipse, with over 90% of the sun covered at its peak.

We'll meet up before it starts so everyone can get set, talk through settings, and explore ideas together. Then we'll shoot as a group as the light slowly shifts into that late-evening eclipse glow. The total duration will be about 2 hours.

With nothing but the open sea on the horizon, we've got a clear, unobstructed view - hopefully some perfect conditions to really focus on the sky and the changing light.

Bring your gear, any (ND-)filters you've got, and a bit of patience. The hosts will be there to assist you with your photography and questions.

This time we're heading to Kralingse Plas - one of Rotterdam's nicest spots to take photos. Think open water, skyline views, quiet forest paths, and plenty of variety in one walk.

We'll start an hour earlier with lunch at De Tuin van de Vier Windstreken, right by the water.

Then head out together and circle the lake as a group. Easy pace, good company, and lots of beautiful nature to work with.

This month we're keeping things in nature and showing you around Broekpolder - a huge green escape right next to Vlaardingen. Expect open landscapes, winding paths, wildlife, and plenty of spots to shoot along the way. It's the kind of place where you can slow down a bit, explore, and just see what catches your eye.

You might also run into the Scottish Highlanders. Those big, shaggy, red-haired cows that roam freely through the area. They make for some great subjects if you keep a bit of distance and take your time.

We'll start together at the McCafé and make our way into the park as a group before kicking off the walk. There's no rush. We'll take breaks, wander, and there'll be space to shoot, chat, and explore at your own pace.

• 16:00 — Walk back together

To get to the McCafé, the best option is to take Metro line B to Vlaardingen Oost, and then take Bus 156 to Vlaardingen west. Get off at bus stop "Floreslaan". See the: travel route.
